Karen first spotted this river otter in early March on one of her walks during lunch break. A few days later I spotted it and it had a big ugly gash on his head. We are guessing maybe a hawk tried to grab it. We have since seen him many times. These pictures were taken on March 27th and we were glad to see the injury healing nicely.
