Kind of blurry but he was pretty far out there!
Beaver
Spent a little time Friday afternoon waiting patiently for a glimpse of Mr Beaver. He finally shows up and a car stops in the middle of the road behind me, dad and son jump out and start pointing excitedly and before I could get a picture.... a big ole tail slap! lol Oh well, I will get him next time.
Belted Kingfisher
Caught this Belted Kingfisher doing his thing today, March 28th, catching big ole crayfish but alas the settings on the camera were a mess. Will try again tomorrow.
River Otter
Karen first spotted this river otter in early March on one of her walks during lunch break. A few days later I spotted it and it had a big ugly gash on his head. We are guessing maybe a hawk tried to grab it. We have since seen him many times. These pictures were taken on March 27th and we were glad to see the injury healing nicely.
